The WCU250 is an electret condenser, uni-directional, professional microphone
perfectly-suited for picking up audio from large groups such as choirs, orches-tras,
and musical ensembles. Because it can be ceiling-mounted and is compact in size,
the WCU250 is very useful in minimizing visual distraction for the per-formers
and the audience alike, and limits intrusion into the working space. The WCU250
utilizes a superior-quality, state-of-the-art transducer element and circuitry.
It features a transformerless, direct-coupled design to ensure clear, transparent
reproduction of even the most delicate transients at the highest output levels.
The WCU250 cable is terminated by a mini-XLR (female). A mini-XLR to stan-dard
XLR adapter houses the pre-amplifier. Its specially-tailored wide, flat fre-quency
response provides enhanced and full, rich reproduction of voice and music. The
microphone requires an external 9V - 52V DC phantom power sup-ply. The WCU250
comes in an inconspicuous, non-reflective matte black finish.
